Operating units represent one of the main elements of the transfer machines. These are flange to the machine frame, in order to ensure extreme rigidity and precision, keeping the electrical components outside of the working area.
MTU units are designed to perform heavy metal cutting operations while maintaining high precision.
The mechanical sizing allows to perform milling and turning operations on materials with a high toughness, with the possibility of adducing the coolant to 70 bar inside the tool.
It is also possible to provide a revolver type tool change system with two to six positions, with HSK63 tool connection. This tool change solution is certainly the most robust and reliable because, operating in an extremely hostile environment, it is immune to chips and coolant.
